Sadly, my first return to blogging in quite some time has been cut short by the sharp cries of little Miss Maisie who has just woken up from her nap. So it goes. Until next time...

![]() I'm embarrassed. It's been nearly a year (ahem...a WHOLE YEAR!) since my last blog. My head hangs heavy in shame. In my defense, I've been a little bit busy with the biggest art project of my life: raising my daughter. I knew that motherhood would keep me busy, but my God I had no idea that it would be THIS crazy! But as you can see, I've wasted no time introducing her to the art scene. Here's a snapshot of us at my friend Martin Beek's recent exhibition in Ipsden, which featured his plein air paintings that were created over the course of a year in all kinds of weather. I've known Martin for quite a long time (15 years *gasp!*) and have always admired his work. This exhibition was really interesting because it was displayed in a church that's located in the heart of the countryside which has inspired so much of his work. It was really stunning. Sadly, my first return to blogging in quite some time has been cut short by the sharp cries of little Miss Maisie who has just woken up from her nap. So it goes. Until next time...
