The last several weeks have been busy for me - it seems that my part-time job at the Gallery has been taking up a lot of my time, leaving me with little time for my own studio practice. Which is difficult. However, having a job is not something to take for granted during these austere times. I have managed to reclaim small moments for myself and in these short studio visits, I've worked on the Pairings Project. Adelaide provided me with such a fantastic collection of her "responses" to items I sent to her, that I've got a great deal to work with. I took one of our pairings to completion without allowing much room for feedback, so for the rest I'm trying to give a more reserved response, to allow Adelaide a much greater opportunity for feedback. Below is a small gallery of what I've done so far. there are two more projects I've started to work on that I need to finish a bit more before passing them back on, but thought I'd share what I've got so far. So as not to waste any more time on this precious day of studio time, I am off to warm up a cup of coffee and head into a zone of creativity and music.
