Field trip day! I went to Oxford and found a couple of cool things in the open market that I can use in my collages: vintage buttons and wooden cubes with letters stamped on them. Then I headed to the Ashmolean Museum and slowsly made my way through relics of the ancient world (Iraq, Greece, India, Rome). At the end I hurriedly made my way through the modern art section and Pre-Raphaelites. Then back to the bus station to get home. A day well-spent, but note to self: next time take lunch so I can stay longer and enjoy the museum without constantly thinking about my empty stomach!
