September 12, 2011 ![]() The weekend ended up being more productive than I had anticipated and wound up bringing a new composition to about 80% completion. I only had to work briefly this morning to get it finished. I've now completed four new works and have lined them up on my windowsill just opposite my desk allowing me to look at them periodically in consideration. I can't say that I'm entirely satisfied with the outcome but I do think that I'm heading in a good direction. Thankfully, we just received a delivery which will help my progress immensely: the router for setting up wireless internet has arrived! Woohoo! This will be such a huge help for a variety of reasons, not the least of which will allow me to get my wireless printer set up so I don't have to precariously perch my laptop on the domed lid of the garbage can so the cord from the printer will reach it - like some sort of akward lifeline...an umbilical cord. Plus, I'm in desperate need of new art materials and now I can order them online - a big plus since I'm without transporation of my own. More to report later - now I must get the router hooked up!
